A small free exhibition beside the seat of the International Court of Justice, explaining what happens inside it.
The palace itself works as a court and is not a museum, so the visitors centre is the substitute: a compact exhibition on international law, the building's Carnegie-funded construction and the gifts sent by the states that endowed it. It takes about half an hour, costs nothing, and does the useful job of making the building across the lawn legible. Interior tours of the palace run only occasionally and are separate from this.
