A ramped OMA building in the Museumpark that runs about twenty changing shows a year and owns nothing.
Because there is no permanent collection there is no fixed reason to come, which cuts both ways: check the programme before you commit the slot, and if two of the shows appeal you will get more from ninety minutes here than from most museums twice the size. The building itself justifies a look regardless — Koolhaas ran a public road straight through the middle of it and hung the galleries off a continuous ramp, so you never quite retrace your steps.
